Talks in Washington to remove Sudan from the list of terrorism

Today, in Washington, a new round of Sudanese-American talks will begin to persuade the US administration to remove Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
Sudanese Foreign Minister Dardairi Mohamed Ahmed arrived in the United States on Saturday after talks with US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan on the launch of the second phase of the dialogue to finalize relations between the two sides.

The announcement comes after two days of sharp criticism from the Sudanese Foreign Ministry to the administration of President Donald Trump, after he signed an executive order to continue the state of national emergency against Sudan because of the policies of Khartoum.
