Big rise in prices in the Sudanese markets


The prices of food commodities have risen sharply in the Sudanese markets, as the onions reached 3,200 Sudanese pounds for one “Jwal” in the markets of Khartoum, and the sugar to 1700 pounds.

On the other hand, the loaf of bread and fuel also rised in prices in the capital, Khartoum. Civilians in Khartoum are lined in long queues in front of the ovens to get bread.

Fuel stations in the capital also has long queues for gasoline, which in turn led to a gasoline crisis that led to higher costs in taxi services.
